Papillon Potpourri Birthday Card

Posted by on March 5, 2013 in Birthday | 2 comments

I actually designed a card from scratch!  🙂  I so often find inspiration from online and somehow came up with one on my own:
I started with the “Patio Party” Designer Series paper (2″ x 5 1/2″) and layered it on Primrose Petals cardstock (5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ and scored at 4 1/4″).  I cut one of our Paper Doilies in half and tucked it under the paper a bit.  I layered the greeting onto Baja Breeze cardstock die-cut with the Labels Framelits and centered it over the doily.  The butterflies are stamped in colors from the DSP (Midnight Muse, Summer Starfruit, Baja Breeze) and punched with the Elegant and Petite Butterfly punches.
Since I had the design I liked, I made a couple more with different greetings:

I made the above card to recognize achievements of two members of my downline.  The greeting is from a special set we got at convention and is stamped in Versarmark and embossed with White Embossing powder (also die-cut with the Labels Framelits).

This card went out to two new demonstrators who recently joined my “Stamp By Me” group 🙂  The greeting is also from a special set received from Stampin’ Up!

You can purchase these supplies and more from my online store:

Happy Stamping!
