Here are a few holiday cards recently created with some of my favorite supplies:

August camp halloween 1

Isn’t he ADORABLE?!  This card uses the Howl-o-ween Treat stamp set and matching Boo to You framelits which is available as a bundle (#140840 $38.25) beginning September 1st.  It also uses the “Happy Haunting” Designer Series Paper.  That “BOO!” greeting is part of the framelit set too 🙂  I used a color combination of Rich Razzleberry, Black and Pumpkin Pie (I should have used Tangerine Tango to better match the paper!).

How gorgeous is that embossed background?!  This card uses the new “Woodland” Embossing Folder (#139673 $8.50) and Soft Suede ink is sponged across the raised images.  That embossing folder is part of a bundle that includes the Among the Branches stamp set (#140872 $21.50) beginning September 1st.  The stamp set has 3 greetings (fall, Halloween and Christmas) and coordinating images (spooky eyes and raven, leaves, ornaments and snowflakes) making it a MUST have for the holiday season 😀  I used the following colors:  Soft Suede, Rich Razzleberry, Pumpkin Pie, Hello Honey and Old Olive.

penquin snowman card 1

My last card uses the new Snow Place stamp set which is available as a bundle with the matching “Snow Friends” Framelits (#140844 $45) beginning September 1st.  The background is embossed with the “Softly Falling” Embossing Folder.  I kept this color combination pretty simple with Bermuda Bay, White and Black (Pumpkin Pie for the feet and nose 🙂  Not sure if my snow is falling correctly or if it’s upside down!

I will be sharing more projects using Holiday Catalog products over the next few months.  Please leave me a comment below and let me know what types of projects you’d like to see:  gift card holders, treat bags or boxes, cards, etc…

Thank you so much for stopping by today!  I hope you enjoyed these projects using new products from the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog that begins September 1st!

  1. Love these cards they are just beautiful.

    • Thank you Brenda!

  2. just love the new folders and additions that go with them. Would love a catalog

    • Hi Kay! Just saw your comment – will email you directly for your address to send you the new catalog 🙂

  3. i just love the Autumn Wishes card. It is just so pretty, bright and simple. I can’t hardly wait to order the supplies. Thanks for sharing.

    • Thank you Vonette! Hope you’ve had a chance to place your order – please let me know if you have any questions about the products 🙂 Happy Stamping!

  4. Love the. Autumn wishes card. I don’t have a big shot but I do have an embossing machine . is the embossing folder a standard size ?

    • Hi Cindy! So sorry for my late reply – just saw your comment. The “Woodland” embossing folder is 6″ x 6″ but you can cut them smaller if you need to. The larger size allows for landscape and portrait cards so if you do decide to trim them, you may want to have two – one for each layout 🙂

  5. Hi Brenda,
I just came across your 2014 You Tube Christmas cards I think they are really great. I make my cards larger then yours, but I like your ideas…Ann

    • Thank you Ann! What size did you make your cards? I need to get started on my 2015 holiday cards!

  6. Love the cards but now I want everything!!

    • Well I hope you’re a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator so you can at least get everything at a discount 😉

  7. I love what you did with these cards! I would love to share this on my blog for ‘My Crafty Friends Monday’ (a round up of amazing cards from amazing stampers!)! Please let me know if you would prefer that I didn’t share it (of course I give you credit and link back to your blog!).
    Inky Hugs!

    • Hi Josee! That would be really nice, glad you like the cards 🙂

    • We are finally getting some cooler weather but still not autumn yet for us 🙁

  9. How did you get the soft suede so perfectly on the branches?

    • Hi Lisa! It was a little tricky. I used a Sponge Dauber and rubbed it across the Soft Suede ink pad. Then I went in a soft, circular motion across the raised image. I did get some ink outside the lines so I ended up lightly sponging the background to hide those little imperfections. You can also Brayer the ink across the raised images but you’ll want to use a lighter color as it goes on pretty dark.
