Do you need a quick and easy holiday card?  Check out this one using only one stamp set, Ornamental Pine, from Stampin’ Up!  I’m trying my best to get 100 holiday cards completed by the end of October – do you think I can do it?  😉

This card has a base of Mossy Meadow cardstock (8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″) and the Whisper White layer on the front (3 3/4″ x 5″) is slightly smaller than the inside piece (4″ x 5 1/4″).  The large pine bough is stamped in Mossy Meadow ink, the ornament in Cherry Cobbler and the pinecone, ornament hook and greeting in Early Espresso.  I die-cut the greeting with the framelit from the Gift Card Envelope & Trims Thinlits Dies (available August 28th).

The stamp set, Ornamental Pine, includes all of those images as well as the greeting shown on the inside:

Isn’t it great when you can create a card using only one stamp set?!  Here’s the list of supplies:

You can also watch a video tutorial from my Keenan Kreations YouTube channel at:

If you wanted to fancy up this quick and easy holiday card, you could add some Dazzling Diamonds Glitter to the little pine cone or ornament but I like it just the way it is.  I decided to use Mossy Meadow cardstock for the base so that the ornament would really stand out stamped in the Cherry Cobbler ink.

My customers have already started receiving their copy of the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog and you can start ordering the products beginning August 28th.  If you don’t have a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator and would like me to send you the Holiday Catalog, please send me an email at Brenda@keenankreations.com 🙂

The Ornamental Pine set is one of several holiday sets I ordered and you’ll be seeing lots of samples using these new products over the next several months.  Some of the projects will be posted on my blog, some on my Keenan Kreations FB page and some only in my customer newsletter.  You can sign up for my newsletter with the sign up box at to the top of the right sidebar.

I also am just starting with Instagram so please find me there too by searching for Keenan Kreations 🙂

Thank you for stopping by today!  I hope you enjoyed this quick and easy holiday card using the new Ornamental Pine from Stampin’ Up!

    • Thank you Madeleine!

  3. Loved this card…especially using just one stamp set. I also appreciate how you completed the inside of the card….really nice….and a touch of whimsy on the envelope. The recipient will know you spent a lot of time (not really) making a special card just for them. LOVELY.
PS: I just purchased the stamp set from you.

    • Thank you Connie! I really like this stamp set and while this card is VERY simple, it’s still pretty 🙂 Thank you for the order and for letting me know you placed it at my online store. It showed up on my reports as “no contact” so I was unable to view the name, address or phone number. If you want to change the “no contact” feature by checking the box to “allow demonstrator to contact me”, I’ll be able to send you this card as a thank you 🙂 Just log in to your account like you’re going to shop, click “My Account” at the top right and then click the “My Demonstrator” tab in the middle. Thanks for your recent comments too!
