How do you earn Stampin’ Up! hostess benefits?
Have you ever wondered how you could earn Stampin’ Up! hostess benefits? In a nutshell, once your personal order (or a combination of orders from your friends) reach $150, you begin to earn hostess benefits. I have lots of customers who earn hostess benefits on their personal order alone and many more who earn hostess benefits by hosting a workshop with their stamping friends. I had a workshop this weekend for a long-time customer and repeat hostess, Pam and this was one of the make-n-takes:
This cute little treat was cased with a few changes from the sample on page 86 of the 2014-2015 Stampin’ Up! catalog. It was quickly and easily put together using the new Fry Box die and the “Fast Food Friends” stamp set 🙂 Check out the treat that was inside:
The cello bag is filled with the Pik-Nik Shoestring Potatoes – yes, they still make them! They were a favorite snack of my boys when they were little and I thought they were perfect for this project. Here’s the list of supplies:
- Stamps: Fast Food Friends
- Ink: Real Red, Daffodil Delight
- Paper: Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Daffodil Delight, Sweet Taffy Designer Series Paper
- Accessories: Hexagon Punch, Fringe Scissors, 4″ x 6″ Cellophane bags, Real Red 1/4″ Cotton Ribbon, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Glue
For in-home workshops, I usually provide a couple of make-n-takes for free to allow the hostess and guests a chance to try out some of the products. Pam is a repeat hostess so her make-n-takes are a little more involved since her group of stampers are very experienced.
I also have some customers who like to gather orders from their stamping friends for a “book party” instead of a traditional workshop. For these hostesses, I create a “hostess code” that their friends can use when placing their orders at my online store. The hostess still earns benefits based on the totals of all the orders and I send out a couple of cute cards as a thank you for everyone that ordered.
