Easy cards using punches and framelits!
I’ve been wanting to use the Stampin’ Up! Kaleidoscope Designer Series Paper and decided to create a couple of quick and easy cards using punches and framelits 🙂 The Kaleidoscope Designer Series Paper is in the “Celebrate the Everyday” catalog (also known as the Occasions Catalog) and uses the following Stampin’ Up! colors:
- Basic Black
- Bermuda Bay
- Crushed Curry
- Strawberry Slush
- Whisper White
Bold bright colors, right? Since the colors were so bright and the patterns a little busy, I chose to have a mostly white background with a pop of color around the edges.
The first card uses the 1″ Square and Postage Stamp punches to create the four little elements that are layered to the left side with Dimensionals.  The greeting is from a stamp set called Feel Good Greetings and has the following images:
Feel Goods (clear mount) Stamp Set | 129684 |
Price: $18.95 |
Feel Goods (wood mount) Stamp Set | 131916 |
Price: $25.95 |
The 2nd card uses the Banner Framelits to die-cut the Kaleidoscope Designer Series Paper and I slightly curled the ends with a Bone Folder. The greeting from that stamp set is called Delightful Dozen and has the following images:
Delightful Dozen (clear mount) Stamp set | 122652 |
Price: $24.95 |
Delightful Dozen (wood mount) Stamp set | 128547 |
Price: $32.95 |
I’m going to be creating some more quick and easy cards using punches and framelits later today while watching the Oscars! Speaking of Oscars, I have a little milestone I’m celebrating today – I’ve reached 5000 subscribers on my YouTube channel! I officially started my Keenan Kreations YouTube channel a year ago last March and I really enjoy sharing my projects and tips through videos. I’ve learned a lot over this past year so my more recent videos are a little better than my first ones and I hope to continue to improve and provide content that helps others enjoy this wonderful art of paper crafting. If you haven’t already, please check out some of my videos at:

Although I won’t be winning an Oscar for this achievement, I will be celebrating tomorrow with some Blog Candy! Be sure to come back and see the goodies I’ll be giving away 🙂
I hope you enjoyed today’s projects and will be inspired to create some of your own easy cards using some of your punches and framelits!
