Stampin’ Up! Clearance Rack Deals!
Stampin’ Up! has recently added new products to the Clearance Rack!!! LOTS of great deals but I think one of the best bargains is the Gumball Green Core’dinations 12 x 12 Cardstock (12 sheets) for only $2.79!
“Use 80 lb. sandable card stock to create an antiqued, distressed, color-popping look. Outside layers are exclusive Stampin’ Up! colors–one side textured, one side smooth. Inside layer is a monochromatic color. Reveal inside layer by sanding, tearing, or distressing. 12 sheets; 12″ x 12″; acid- and lignin-free. Use with Stampin’ Sanding System and Core’dinations Dust Buddy.”
I love the textured side, especially for this card with the “See Ya Later” stamp set from the Sale-a-bation catalog.
This card also uses the “Decorative Dots” Embossing Folder and Banner Punch, both from the Sale-a-bation catalog. The Sale-a-bration catalog features lots of choices of products that you can earn for free with a $50 order:
- 4 Stamp sets: Petal Parade, Banner Blast, You’re Lovely, See Ya Later
- Sweet Sorbet Designer Series Paper (12 sheets of 12 x 12 doubled sided printed paper)
- Sweet Sorbet Accessory Pack (30 yards of twine, 3 different colors, and printed adhesive-backed cork)
- Decorative Dots Embossing Folder
- Good as Gold Card Kit (quickly create 8 thank you cards, envelopes included)
- Banner Punch
- Twisty Treats Kit (create 12 adorable treat bags)
- Heartfelt Banner Kit (easy and cute home décor)
- 2 Digitable Ensembles: Hooray for Parties and One Big Sale-a-bration 2014
For the card above, I used a base of Whisper White cardstock (8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″). The Gumball Green Core’dinations cardstock (3 1/2″ x 5 1/2″) is embossed with the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder and then lightly sanded to reveal the lighter shade of color in the center of the cardstock. I used the Banner Punch to punch the Summer Starfruit Designer Series Paper and cardstock and added to the underside of the Gumball Green cardstock. I used a Bone Folder to light curl the ends. Summer Starfruit Satin Stitched ribbon was added with a simple knot tied in the front. The greeting from the “See Ya Later” stamp set was inked in Summer Starfuit then I used the brush tip of the Gumball Green marker to color the alligator before stamping on Whisper White cardstock. I die-cut the greeting with the Banner Framelits and popped it up with Dimensionals.
