Easy Christmas Card with Washi Tape

I am fairly new to this Washi Tape stuff but am quickly becoming a fan after creating this easy Christmas card:

washi christmas tree

The base of the tree is Whisper White cardstock die-cut with the Perfect Pennants die and Big Shot.  The Washi Tape is a little translucent so I wanted a white base to keep the colors bright and crisp.  The tree base is simply covered with the “Season of Style” Washi Tape with the ends of the tape being wrapped around the back a little.  The tree trunk is created with Victoria Crochet ribbon and Pearls are added for ornaments.  The tree and the greeting are both popped up with Dimensionals and layered onto Crumb Cake cardstock embossed with the Petals-a-Plenty Embossing Folder and Big Shot.  Linen Thread is tied to the left for a delicate little bow 🙂

Stamps:  Petite Pairs (best greeting set ever!)

Ink:  Cherry Cobbler

Paper:  Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Very Vanilla, Old Olive, “Season of Style” Designer Series Paper

Accessories:  Perfect Pennants Die, Victoria Crochet ribbon, Pearls, Dimensionals, Petals-a-plenty Embossing Folder, Lg Oval Punch, Scallop Oval Punch, Linen Thread

Even though this is a fairly easy Christmas card to create, I think all the little details still make it a “wow” card 🙂
