Did you ever think it would be easy to create a  Flip card (aka swing card)?  I’ve made these flip/swing cards before and they were never easy – until now 🙂  Check out Stampin’ Up! brand new Thinlit dies:

You can order these dies and more at my online store.
I used the Circle Card Thinlits die but the Labels one would be just as cute!

This would be cute as a standard card but look what happens when you start to open it:

You can also watch a video tutorial for this really easy flip card at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aTbZiS-4oa4

Stamps:  Halloween Hello, Halloween Bash
Ink:  Black Stazon, Summer Starfruit
Paper:  Basic Black (12 x 12), Very Vanilla, Pumpkin Pie, Witch’s Brew Designer Series Paper
Accessories:  Circle Card Thinlits Die, Circle Framelits, Summer Starfruit Stitched Satin ribbon, Dimensionals, Decorative Label Punch, Scallop Oval Punch

The Basic Black cardstock is cut to 5 1/2″ x 6″ and you’ll be able to get 4 from a 12 x 12 sheet of cardstock.  The Designer series paper is 3/4″ x 5 1/2″ for the left side and 3″ x 5 1/2″ for the right side (you may have to trim a smidgeon from the right side after you adhere it – also make sure you don’t overlap the score line or it’ll bend the paper when you fold the card).  You could also add some Rhinestones to the skull eyes for some added sparkle 🙂

Be sure and check back tomorrow for a tip on how to add a space inside for a written message that won’t show when the card is closed 🙂

So hurry up and order those thinlits dies if you want to create a flip/swing card that is truly easy!
