Easy Christmas card!
I love making my holiday cards but prefer a simple design since I like to make about 90 to send out to family and friends. I also get bored after about 20 so I like to have options for changing them up a bit like the ones shown below:
In designing an easy Christmas card, I prefer not to have any die-cutting or embossing. I want to be able to create and assemble all the components without having to get up to use the Big Shot or so I’ll try to use a stamp set with a coordinating punch like the Christmas Collectibles Bundle:

Christmas Collectables Clear-Mount Bundle | #133283 |
Price: $27.95 |
I also love this layout because it uses a 2″ x 5 1/4″ piece of the Season of Style Designer Series Paper:

Season Of Style Designer Series Paper | #132340 |
Price: $10.95 |
which will give me 12 strips from each 12″ x 12″ piece of DSP (designer series paper) and 144 strips from a whole pack – more than enough to finish my holiday cards 🙂
Because the Season of Style Designer Series Paper has five different colors:
- Chocolate Chip
- Baked Brown Sugar
- Crumb Cake
- Cherry Cobbler
- Old Olive
I can also change the base of the card, the ribbon and the ornaments in case I get bored with making a bunch of the same card.
Even though I prefer to create Christmas cards that are easy to make, I still want them to look special. It’s easy to add a little extra “something” to these cards with ribbon, Rhinestones and Dimensionals.
Have you started to think about your holiday cards yet? My advice is to start making them sooner than later! If you need help in designing an easy Christmas card, please let me know – I’d be happy to help 🙂
