Easy any occasion card

Now at first glance, you might not think this is an easy any occasion card, but I promise it is!  Stampin’ Up! makes it easy with accessories like framelits and embossing folders :-)
Here are the directions:
  1. Start with Whisper White cardstock (8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ and folded in half at 4 1/4″).
  2. Daffodil Delight cardstock (4″ x 5 1/4″) is die-cut with the smallest Deco Label Framelit and then embossed with the Hexagon Embossing folder and Big Shot.
  3. Die-cut Basic Black cardstock (about 3″ x 2 3/4″) with the two smallest Deco Label Framelits and Big Shot (you can nest one inside the other and die-cut at the same time)
  4. Add the black frame to the Daffodil Delight embossed cardstock with Glue Dots
  5. Add 1/8″ Black Taffeta ribbon to the bottom (one piece 5″ with ends glued to the back, separate piece tied in a knot and added with Glue Dot)
  6. Lay on top of the folded Whisper White cardstock for placement and stamp the greeting (from Oh, Hello stamp set) in Black Stazon
  7. Add the Daffodil Delight cardstock to the front of your card with Dimensionals (about 9)
  8. Stamp the bee (from Backyard Basics stamp set) in Black Stazon on scrap Whisper White cardstock, color with Daffodil Delight marker
  9. Die-cut the bee with the Backyard Basics Framelit and add to card with Dimensionals
  10. Add Rhinestones to the eyes and top of black frame
  11. Add Crystal Effects to the wings
My local customers will get to make this easy any occasion card at my stamp camp this month.  There’s still a few spots open for the following dates:

You can RSVP by phone (408.377.4942) or email (Brenda@keenankreations.com).
So do you prefer making easy any occasion cards or do you like ones that are more involved or occasion specific?
