Fun Faux Tile Technique!

Posted by on July 8, 2013 in Flowers, video | 2 comments

I remember this technique from a while back but thought it would be fun to add the layer of clear embossing to give the tiles a glossy look:
I just uploaded a video tutorial atย that shows the steps but I’ll include a list of directions here too.
  1. Cut Whisper White cardstock to 4″ x 5″ and scored at 1″ intervals vertically and horizontally.
  2. Stamp your images being careful not to press too hard so the grout lines stay white
  3. Cover the whole thing with Versamark Ink and dip into the Clear Embossing Powder
  4. Use the Blender pen to go over the grout lines and remove the embossing powder
  5. Heat the embossing powder
  6. Repeat steps 3 – 5 one more time
  7. Layer and decorate card as you like ๐Ÿ™‚
Easy, huh?ย  ๐Ÿ™‚ย  It really is not difficult, just takes a little time to emboss with the clear embossing powder.
