Fun Faux Tile Technique!
I remember this technique from a while back but thought it would be fun to add the layer of clear embossing to give the tiles a glossy look:
I just uploaded a video tutorial at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pMFyBVMJ0Akย that shows the steps but I’ll include a list of directions here too.
-
Cut Whisper White cardstock to 4″ x 5″ and scored at 1″ intervals vertically and horizontally.
-
Stamp your images being careful not to press too hard so the grout lines stay white
-
Cover the whole thing with Versamark Ink and dip into the Clear Embossing Powder
-
Use the Blender pen to go over the grout lines and remove the embossing powder
-
Heat the embossing powder
-
Repeat steps 3 – 5 one more time
-
Layer and decorate card as you like ๐
Easy, huh?ย ๐ย It really is not difficult, just takes a little time to emboss with the clear embossing powder.
If you like the video, please share with your friends and leave a nice comment ๐
Happy Stamping!
