Easy way to create elegant cards

Did you know there’s an easy way to create elegant cards?
Yes, with Stampin’ Up!’s “Simply Fabulous” Simply sent kit there is!  The kit contains everything you need to create 8 note cards but if you add just a few more supplies, you can create a card that is more than “simply fabulous” but simply elegant too ;-)

I added a base card of the new Smokey Slate (8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″) and adhered the note card from the kit to the front.  The 1/8″ Taffeta ribbon (Pistacchio Pudding) is also from the kit and is even pre-cut and ready to tie around the post card to add a pretty bow on the front.

I have the new Flower Shop stamp set and coordinating punch and thought flowers would be the perfect addition to the trellis design.  Can you tell which punch created the leaves?  It’s actually the wing image from the Bird Builder punch.  The Simply Sent kit not only makes it easy to create elegant cards, but it also provides the unusual (and elegant 😉 color combination of Smokey Slate and Pistacchio pudding.  I’m not sure I would have combined those two colors together on my own, but I love it!

I chose the greeting from the “Feel Goods” set for a member of my group who recently celebrated an anniversary as a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator but think it would also work for someone who recently graduated, got a new job or promotion or accomplished a personal goal.

So remember, if you would like an easy way to create elegant cards for a variety of occasions, be sure to check out the “Simply Fabulous” Simply Sent kit on page 161 in the big catalog!
