Swallowtail with Emboss Resist Technique
The one below uses the “Tea For Two” Designer Series Paper
These cards were SO much fun to create and will be one of the projects for my May Stamp Camp The “Swallowtail” stamp was inked in Versamark, stamped on the designer series paper (3 7/8 x 5 1/8)and then embossed with Clear Embossing powder. I used Basic Gray ink and a Stampin’ Sponge to rub ink over the embossed image and on the edges of the paper. I tied a soft knot in the Gray/Black 1 1/4″ Two-tone ribbon and added to the bottom part of the embossed paper. This was then layered to coordinating cardstock (Baja Breeze, Melon Mambo or So Saffron 4 1/8 x 5 3/8) and then layered to Basic Gray cardstock (5 1/2 x 8 1/2, scored at 4 1/4).
The greeting from “Curly Cute” was stamped in Basic Gray at the top.
Which color combination do you like best?
