"Feeling Sentimental" from Sale-a-bration

I have a workshop tomorrow and the hostess requested a make-n-take using the “Feeling Sentimental” stamp set from the 2013 Sale-a-bration catalog.  I LOVED this card from my friend and fellow demonstrator, Beth Ann Wilson, and was inspired to create this:

The bicycle image is stamped in Not Quite Navy on Whisper White cardstock and punched with the 2 1/2″ Circle punch.  I layered it onto Cherry Cobbler cardstock die-cute with the Window Frames Collection Framelit and added some Silver Mini brads before adding it to the card with Dimensionals.  All the colors for this card came from the strip of Parker’s Patterns Designer Series Paper.  The Early Espresso Stitched 1/4″ Grosgrain ribbon is added in two pieces:  1 piece is added to the left side of the DSP with the ends adhered to the back, another piece is tied into a soft knot and adhered with a Glue Dot.  I added a little paper-piercing along the left side too 🙂

Stamps:  Feeling Sentimental (Free with a $50 order till March 22nd!)
Ink:  Not Quite Navy, Early Espresso
Paper:  Marina Mist, Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White, Parker’s Patterns Designer Series Paper
Accessories:  Early Espresso Stitched Grosgrain ribbon, 2 1/2″ Circle punch, Window Frames Collection Framelits, Dimensionals, Paper-piercing Tool, Essentials Paper-piercing pack, Piercing Mat

Happy Stamping!

Brenda 🙂
