Pleasant Poppies with Butterfly

I was browsing for ideas and came across a beautiful card by Maureen Merritt which can be seen at http://stampandscrapwithmaureen.blogspot.com/2012/07/inspired-by-summer.html and had to stop everything to case it with a few changes :-)  What do you think?

Stamps:  Pleasant Poppies, Papillon Potpourri, En Francais
Ink:  Crumb Cake, Black Stazon
Paper:  Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Basic Black
Accessories:  Labels Collection Framelits, Elegant Butterfuly Punch, Sponges, Paper Piercer and Mat, Square Lattice Embossing Folder, Vanilla Seam Binding, Pearls, Dimensionals

I first stamped the En Francais in Crumb Cake on Whisper White cardstock, then stamped the Pleasant Poppies on top in Black Stazon.  Die cut the various pieces with the Labels Framelits, sponge the Whisper White piece with Crumb Cake and emboss the Black piece with the Square Lattice Folder.  Layer the Whisper White to the Basic Black with Mini Glue Dots and add to the front of the card with Dimensionals.  Add the paper piercing around the largest framelit (the very top and bottom pierces won’t fit but it still looks nice :-) and add the punched butterfly to the center.  Finish off with some Pearls and a pretty bow.  Sweet, huh?

Happy Stamping!

Brenda :-)
