Masculine Cards Class for May

Here are the projects for my Masculine Cards Class this month:
This card was cased from a Leadership swap I received from Nelda Clements and is perfect for Father’s Day but would also work for a congrats (new job) or birthday wishes. The Mini Silver Brads add the perfect detail for the collar and you’ll learn fun yet simple folds to create the shirt and tie.
(Please note that you’ll be able to choose from a variety of papers and your sample may vary slightly from the one shown above but the overall look will be the same)

This card uses strips of “Well Worn” Designer Series paper created into banners by punching the bottoms with a square punch. They are layered onto Cajun Craze cardstock embossed with the Square Lattice Embossing folder. The greeting is from the hostess set, “Happiest Birthday Wishes” which will be a raffle prize in May 🙂

This card was cased with some changes from Yvette Ashe (fellow demonstrator from our Stampin’ Connection) and uses the “Inspired by Nature” set which is retiring the end of May.  A strip of “Paisley Petals” Designer Series paper is accented with our Mini Silver Brads (you can choose to use fewer brads, I went kind of crazy on the sample 🙂 The greeting is from “Sincere Salutations” which is also retiring the end of May. All the edges are sponged with Chocolate Chip ink and Satin ribbon is tied into a simple knot.
(OK, I couldn’t decide if I liked the card with more or less brads, sponging or none, layered greeting or not – so you choose! Also, the card below has the grass embossed 🙂
