Lynne held a special workshop to celebrate her mom’s independence (she flew for the first time on her own :-) so the projects had a red, white and blue theme:

Paper: Pacific Point, Real Red, Whisper White
Accessories: Movers & Shapers die, Modern Label punch, Scallop Border punch, Paper Piercing tool/mat pack, Star punch, White Satin ribbon, Dimensionals

Stamps: Medallion, En Francais, Perfect Punches
Ink: Marina Mist, Cherry Cobbler
Paper: Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White
Accessories: Marina Mist Satin ribbon, Dimensionals, Movers and Shapers die, Scallop Oval punch, Paper-Piercing Tool/Mat Pack, Jewels Basic Rhinestones

Lynne wanted to learn how to make these strawberries so I added a little basket. The box is made from the Fancy Favor Box and is cut down so it’s much shorter. The berry stamp is from “Tart and Tangy” and colored with markers before stamping. We made two different versions of the strawberry:

This strawberry (sorry it’s blurry) is made from the largest flower of the “Flower Folds” die. You cut off two of the petals, overlap the two outside petals with Mini Glue dots or Sticky Strip. Punch holes at the tops of the petals, thread with ribbon or twine and pull at the top. Tie a knot and add the leaves at the top. If you gently push the top of the strawberry down a bit, it gets more of the strawberry shape.

This strawberry was die-cut with the Flower Bigz Clear die. Overlap two of the petals and put together the same as above. I like this strawberry the best but everyone else preferred the one on top. I realized after making these that the “dimples” should be recessed and not raised (the flowers were embossed with the Polka Dot Embossing Folder.
