Lynne held a special workshop to celebrate her mom’s independence (she flew for the first time on her own 🙂 so the projects had a red, white and blue theme:

Lynne wanted to learn how to make these strawberries so I added a little basket. The box is made from the Fancy Favor Box and is cut down so it’s much shorter. The berry stamp is from “Tart and Tangy” and colored with markers before stamping. We made two different versions of the strawberry:
This strawberry (sorry it’s blurry) is made from the largest flower of the “Flower Folds” die. You cut off two of the petals, overlap the two outside petals with Mini Glue dots or Sticky Strip. Punch holes at the tops of the petals, thread with ribbon or twine and pull at the top. Tie a knot and add the leaves at the top. If you gently push the top of the strawberry down a bit, it gets more of the strawberry shape.
