tea light candle holder

I’ve seen a bunch of these types of candle holders and thought I’d give it a try:

I used the “Flower Folds” die and 2 soda cans. You just carefully cut the soda can to remove the top and bottom and then cut it in 2 parts for the flowers. I laid the aluminum silver side down and ran it through the Big Shot. I didn’t use the smallest flower layer to allow room for the tealight. I used a Bone Folder to slightly curl the petals and used Mini Glue Dots to hold the layers. Cool huh?

  1. this is really nice..
    that i must try..
    have a nice day.

  2. Great idea! TFS – and you can buy aluminum/metal in rolls or small sheets (fairly inexpensively) at the local craft store – saves the cutting, which can be tricky. Hopefully, SU! will carry something like it some day.

  3. Beautifully done Brenda!

  4. Very pretty and creative. TFS
