July Stamp Camp Samples

Here are some projects for my July Stamp Camp:

This card was inspired by all the Baby Bib cards seen on http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/.

This is a quick and easy card cased from Dawn Olchefske whose original can be seen at http://dostamping.typepad.com/dostamping_with_dawn/2009/06/dostamping-team-razzle-dazzle-in-colors-superstar-party.html

Stamps: Razzle Dazzle, Oval All
Ink: Melon Mambo
Paper: Melon Mambo, Whisper White
Accessories: Melon Mambo ribbon, Lg and Scallop Oval punches, Dimensionals, Paper-piercing tool/template

(This will be an alternate card that can be substitued for any of the samples shown)

This card was cased with slight changes from April Rose whose original can be seen at: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1340281?cat=14669

Stamps: A Rose is a Rose, Oval All, Bella Toile
Inks: Ballet Blue, Brilliant Blue, Certainly Celery, Old Olive
Paper: Whisper White, Certainly Celery, Brilliant Blue, Ballet Blue, Old Olive
Accessories: Lg Oval and Scallop Oval punches, Dimensionals, Stamp-a-majig

I really like how this one turned out – may be a convention swap but will definitely be submitted to SU! for their monthly art contest :-)

Stamps: Autumn Days, Trendy Trees (sentiment)
Ink: Crushed Curry, Dusty Durango, Old Olive, Soft Suede, Versamark
Paper: Old Olive, Textured Soft Suede, Whisper White
Accessories: Clear Embossing Powder, Modern Label punch, Dimensionals, 1″ Circle punch (for the moon mask), sponges, Versamarker

The bird is inked in Versamark then Soft Suede before stamping on Whisper White cardstock. Emboss with Clear EP. Use Versamarker to apply ink to the stripes on the bird, emboss with Clear EP – this will keep his stripes white. Mask and sponge the bottom part for the grass. Stamp the leaves on the grassy area for more texture (with Old Olive ink, stamp off once before stamping). Mask the grassy area and stamp the wheat in Crushed Curry and Dusty Durango. Mask the moon and sponge the sky with Crushed Curry and Dusty Durango. Remove the moon mask and light sponge across some ink so it’s not too white.

This card was cased from “stamptilucramp” whose original can be viewed at http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1397561

I really like the contrast of black and a bold color like Bermuda Bay. I used Black Stazon instead of Basic Black because it seems to be a truer black – the Basic Black can have a little purplish tint to it.

Stamps: Circle Circus, Sincere Salutations
Ink: Black Stazon, Bermuda Bay
Paper: Bermuda Bay, Whisper White
Accessories: Bermuda Bay ribbon, Dimensionals

This card was cased with slight changes from Andrea Walford whose original can be seen at http://andreawalford.com/?p=2657
