Stationary Box
I found this way too cute Stationary Box idea at http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/931992?si=escape by “Jenn D”. You can find the original artist and directions at Jackie Topa’s blog at http://jackietopa.typepad.com/addicted_to_stamping/2008/05/stationary-box.html
I made a few changes but once you see the other samples and go through the directions, you’ll see how easy it is to make. My stationary box holds 6 standard cards (4 1/4 x 5 1/2) with envelopes (they are in the back section), 3 3×3 cards with envelopes (in the front right section)and 3 gift tags (in the front left section). I kept the cards fairly simple and used the Greeting Cards/Envelopes from the catalog that are already cut and scored for you. The front part that folds down has a little pocket for stamps, a bigger pocket for mailing labels (the other gals included a small address book here) and a loop of paper to hold your pen. This will be a class I’m offering sometime this month to celebrate “eScape” with Stampin’ Up! 🙂
Brenda,
You are always such a great source of encouragement for those of us who just procrastinate about doing some of these projects. You always make them look so easy….And beautiful…….Love your work little girl….. Hugs..Ro
