Beate’s Weekend Sketch Challenge

Posted by on May 30, 2008 in masculine | 3 comments

I’ve never participated in a “challenge” before but always admired all the samples created using the same template. I saw Dannie’s card here http://danniesdesigns.typepad.com/my_weblog/2008/05/beates-weekend.html and thought I’d give it a shot. Here’s what I came up with:

Keywords: WSC50
Stamps: All Holidays
Paper: Western Sky, River Rock, Ruby Red, Soft Sky, Blue Bayou
Ink: Ruby Red
Accessories: Blue Bayou ribbon, Stampin’ Dimensionals, paper-piercing tool/template

I’m going to miss these colors when they retire in August too 🙁

Be sure to check out Beate’s blog for other samples using this sketch http://beate.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/2008/05/30/weekend-sketch-challenge-50/

  1. Brenda, your card turned out great. The paper and sketch look wonderful for a Father’s Day card!
Thanks for playing! Have a great weekend. Hugs and smiles

  2. I love the way your card turned out. I always struggle with masculine cards. I like the colors you used and all of the paper piercing. I’m telling you, the sketch challenges are addicting and so much fun.

  3. Great male card! Lovely papers used.
    xx :0)
