different version of Carousel Notes Purse Album

Here’s another version of the Purse Album with a couple extra pages inserted. (The original idea came from http://stampspaperscissors.typepad.com/stamps_paper_scissors/ and more samples can be viewed at Patty Bennett’s blog: http://pattystamps.typepad.com/pattys_stamping_spot/2008/03/wow—carousel.html) My original post is here: http://keenankreations.blogspot.com/2008/04/carousel-notes-purse-album-class.html

Here’s pages 1 and 2 (you can also see the Carousel Note peeking out from the envelope opening behind page 1)

Here’s the middle section (no fold here, just a flat center) with pages 3 & 4. These pages have a little flap that tucks inside the opening of the envelope. I secured it with adhesive but you could probably leave it loose where you can pull it out and have another page for photos or journaling.

Here’s the last two pages, again you can see the Carousel Note tucked in the opening of the envelope in the back. These can be pulled out to reveal photos or jounaling. The back page is a pocket (just like page 1) for holding photos or memorabilia.

Here’s a side view to show the extra pages. These are VERY fun to make 🙂

I think when I make the next one, I’ll shorten the inside pages so it’s not too bulky at the top of the purse.

Oooohhh, I just thought of something. I could make the inside pages 6″ x 12″ and score at 2″ (for the flap that’s secured inside the envelope opening) and then score again at 5″. Then when you open the purse, you could have a fold-out page that opens to 6″ x 10″ and folds to 6″ x 5″. When the purse is closed, there’s still plenty of room for the folded part to hang down in that middle section. Darn, now I have to go make another one! 🙂
