Sale-a-bration Bday

I finally got to make a card using one of the new Sale-a-bration sets, Birthday Whimsy. I cased with slight changes from a fellow demonstrator “teneale” whose card can be seen at http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga…9036?cat=12324 When you click to see her sample, be sure to check out her blog, she’s very talented and you’ll love her projects 🙂 The presents are popped up on dimensionals and I changed the color combo (used the color coach for inspiration). I also added the brown on either end of the presents for balance and to tie in more with the ribbon color. I don’t usually post the inside of the card and envelope but thought I would here. I ALWAYS stamp the inside of the card and the envelope to match the front. The balloons show the “masking” technique and the cake show how to use markers directly on our stamps.

Stamps: birthday whimsy
Paper: almost amethyst, rose red, choc chip, so saffron textured, whisper white
Ink: choc chip, almost amethyst, so saffron, rose red
Accessories: choc chip 5/8″ grosgrain, stampin’ dimensionals
