February Stamp Camp Projects

Here are a few of the projects for my stamp camps this month.

This one was inspired by “vkillmore” whose card can be seen at http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/729456?cat=10789&sorttime=all&sortby=v&way=descI tried so hard to copy the original card but couldn’t get the brayering to look as pretty so I ended up sponging the layers instead.

My friend Melanie has requested masculine cards for camp projects, I hope she likes this one :-)

Stamps: Wanted, Sanded, Peaceful Wishes (for the grass under the horses)
Paper: Confetti Cream, Very Vanilla, Chocolate Chip
Ink: Chocolate Chip, Summer Sun, Pumpkin Pie, Ruby Red
Accessories: sponges, 1/38″ circle punch (for sun mask), Photo corner punch, Vintage Brads, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Scallop Circle Punch, 3/4″ circle punch

Inspired by Nancy Littrel whose card can be seen at http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga…2819?cat=12461 I started out to completely case her card then got distracted by the Porcelain Prints DSP and came up with this. I think I may end up stamping the sentiment in Not Quite Navy or Night of Navy to have it show up better but overall, I like this card :-) The bird piece is covered in Versamark and embossed with Clear EP (my Versamark pad was dirty -whose isn’t – so it gave it an aged look :-). The pattern behind the “a” is from the heart stamp.

Stamps: Always, Wanted (for scallop circle part)
Paper: Porcelain DSP, Blue Bayou, Very Vanilla
Ink: Blue Bayou, Certainly Celery, Versamark
Accessories: Scallop Circle Punch, Clear EP, sponges, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Paper-piercer

I had a request from a long-time customer to use metallic pencils so I came up with this one. I love the new “One of a Kind” stamp set and thought it would be perfect for this technique. It really is much prettier and shimmerier (is that a word?) in person.

Stamps: One of a Kind, It’s Beautiful jumbo wheel
Paper: Brushed Gold, Taken with Teal, Basic Black
Ink: versamark, Basic Black
Accessories: Gold EP, Metallic Pencils, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Ticket Corner Punch, Eggplant Grosgrain ribbon
Techniques: embossing
