Holiday Camp projects

Here are the projects for my Holiday camp next weekend:

This is obviously not a holiday card but Stampin’ Up! sent us demonstrators a free set and I couldn’t wait to use it :-) The stamp set is called “Time Well Spent” and will be a Level 3 Hostess set from the upcoming Spring/Summer Collection catalog due out in January. I completely and shamelessly cased this card from “illustamper” whose original card can be seen at http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/723343?cat=12103

Stamp set: Time Well Spent
Paper: River Rock, Blue Bayou, Watercolor paper
Ink: River Rock, Blue Bayou
Accessories: Aquapainter, Paper-piercing tool/template/foam mat, Stampin’ Dimensionals

This is a VERY quick and easy little gift box to make using our designer series papers. You can find the tutorials for the box at http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/origami_box/ and for the bow at http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/paperbow.php

I found the idea for this gift card holder at http://notimetostamp.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/2007/11/02/stamp-simply-challenge-7-gift-card-holders/ The band slides off and the top opens to reveal a pocket to hold the gift card.

This cute little ornament was made by “Kelaine” and can be viewed at her Splitcoast gallery here http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/705537?cat=500&ppuser=117259 It is made from 6 circles punched from our Scallop Circle punch. Just fold them in half, adhere them to each other (but not to themselves or it won’t open :-) as you stack them, add the cording and beads then adhere the outside ones to open it up and form your ornament.

This card is so much prettier in person as it’s stamped on our Shimmery White cardstock. I love using this cardstock because it’s firm enough not to need layers. It will require extra postage though because the poinsettia is layered with dimensionals twice.

Stamps: Many Merry Messages, Season of Joy
Paper: Shimmery White
Ink: Wild Wasabi, Purely Pomegranate
Accessories: Rhinestone brads, Stampin’ Dimensionals

This card also sparkles in person. The large snowflake is inked with Versamark first then stamped with Blue Bayou on Whisper White. The Versamark keeps the ink wet long enough to emboss wit Heat-n-Stick powder which is a great way to add Dazzling Diamonds glitter to detailed images. I have to apologize for not giving proper credit to the original card I cased but I can’t remember where I saw it. I’ll keep looking and will post it once I find it :-)

Stamps: The Snowflake Spot
Papers: Whisper White, Soft Sky, Blue Bayou
Inks: Soft Sky, Blue Bayou, Versamark
Accessories: Heat-n-Stick powder, Dazzling Diamonds glitter, sponges, Blue Bayou Double-Stitched ribbon

  1. Oh my gosh, what adorable items — you’ve been so busy!!! I LOVE the box with the pretty coordinating bow — what fun to make and so pleasing to the eye!!! And I love how you did the sliding band on the gift card holder — great project!!! Thanks much for the mention! Mind if I link you to my Blog?
