Ok, I’m a bad blogger
“Hi, my name is Brenda Keenan, and I’m a bad blogger.” I’m so sorry it’s been WAY too long since the last post. That’s partly why I haven’t told everyone yet about this darn blog. I knew I would forget to post. But, thanks to Jen, I’m hopefully back on the right track 🙂
Here’s a card I cased recently that I absolutely LOVE:
You can see it’s very simple card but isn’t the color combination fantastic?! You can see the original by Mary Brown at http://stampercamper.com/2007/09/15/…-thanksgiving/ I added the paper piercing at the top and used the Air Art Tool for the “speckles” but otherwise, it’s pretty much exactly the same as Mary’s card. Here are the supplies:
Stamps: Autumn Fest, All Holidays, Sanded (my newest and most favorite background stamp)
Inks: More Mustard, Sage Shadow, Really Rust
Paper: Very Vanilla, Sage Shadow, Really Rust
Accessories: Chocolate 5/8″ grosgrain ribbon, Paper-piercing tool/template/foam mat.
Can you believe I didn’t use any Stampin’ Dimensionals? I’m hoping to send this out as my Thanksgiving card this year to my family and friends back home (Sweet Home Alabama :-). To mass produce this card, simply stamp the entire sheet of Very Vanilla 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock first, then cut it to 2 1/2 x 5 1/2.
