Not So Spooky Halloween card

This quick and easy card was also my convention swap this year in Denver, Co. The “Spooky Skyline” jumbo wheel is wheeled in Versamark on Basic Black cardstock and then embossed with Black embossing powder (clear EP would probably work too). Remember to use the Embossing Buddy before stamping to reduce the amount of stray flecks of powder (the embossing buddy removes the oil from your fingertips and also any static from your cardstock). Layer this to the bottom of your folded Pumpkin Pie cardstock and add the Creepy Crawly designer series paper to the top for quick color and pattern. Stamp the little spider in Basic Black on Whisper White and punch him out with the 1 3/4″ circle punch. Layer him to more Pumpkin Pie cardstock punched out with the new Scallop Circle punch. Add some Black Gingham ribbon and layer to your card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. After I’d scanned this card, I decided to add some paper piercing to the scalloped circle and liked the added texture. I’m kinda addicted to paper-piercing. There’s just something very soothing about poking a bunch of holes in cardstock, it relaxes me 🙂
